Last year, Glo introduced a special data plan which gives subscribers 1.2GB worth of data for just N200. Unfortunately, the plan has been stopped.
The bundle came as a blessing to heavy internet users who needed an affordable plan to enable them to carry on with their online tasks.
This news will surely come as a negative one for many that hoped to use the plan for a longer period of time - I am not left out of this lot.
On discovering that the option was no longer in the 777 menu after my brother called to inform me, I had a chat with a customer care agent who confirmed to me that it no longer exists.
You may be wondering why Glo stopped the N200 for 1GB special data offer plan. Well, I do not know the reason for such a move but I feel they shut it because they probably have come to the end of the promotion.
Now, we will have to move on by opting for other data plans on the Glo network since they still lead when it comes to giving customers more data at a lesser cost. They are the grandmasters of data. Yes, they are!
Note however that the fact that Glo has stopped the activation of the N200 special data offer does not mean you cannot use the one you have currently. I still have about 3GB which is what I am using at the moment.

Glo!!!!! Chai!!!!! Why una do us like this na? This particular data plan has been of help to a lot of people. What could have led to this action? It's so painful. Nevertheless, their other plans aiint bad afterall.
